David L. Boren Fellowships support international study and research opportunities for U.S. graduate students.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program offers scholarships for students traditionally underrepresented in education abroad.

Whitaker International Fellows and Scholars Program supports biomedical engineering study and/or research abroad.

Language Flagship Fellowships offer funding for advanced language training in critical languages.

Educators to Saudi Arabia Program provides a professional development opportunity for teacher-librarians and social studies educators.

Émigré Memorial German Internship Program — German State Parliaments (EMGIP) offers participants practical work experience with a state parliament, utilize their German skills and experience German culture firsthand.

SCHOTT Summer Internship Program (SCHOTT-SIP), in Germany, offers paid internships in a variety of fields. SCHOTT is a a world leader in special glass and glass-ceramics for industrial, scientific and consumer applications.

International Fellows Program offers nine-month international fellowships to graduate and undergraduate students in primarily African countries but also in selected other developing countries. Fellows are assigned to various development organizations (Africare, CARE, Save the Children, etc.) to work on various types of community-based development activities.

Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship supports students acting “ambassadors of goodwill” as they study abroad in one of more than 160 countries where Rotary Clubs are located.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers programs and funding (in Germany) for students, faculty, researchers and other in higher education, providing financial support to over 50,000 individuals per year.
