In today's world, it is important to have an
efficient and effective way to deal with a wide variety of situations
which affect both our international students here on campus and our
faculty, staff and students overseas. To address any international
circumstance, UD has an International Response Team (IRT) which is a
group of individuals
who are prepared to act in any situation.
The team's charge is to provide input to the Center for International Programs and other international program administrators on case-specific
response plans, identify the need to involve others, and provide advice on follow up and reporting. In this way, the University is well equipped
and fully prepared to meet the needs of University faculty, staff, students and parents should an international incident arise.
