International / Intercultural Learning & Living Community Valuing intercultural understanding The International/Intercultural Learning and Living Community is a group of approximately 44 students living together in Garden Apartments as part of an environment which supports and nurtures students’ international and intercultural interests. Residents participate in movie nights, international dinners and panel discussions with faculty members as they explore many different cultures. As the global crossroads on campus, ILLC residents include students from across the country and around the world. The unique living experience offered in the ILLC challenges old stereotypes and creates new perceptions for all students involved. Immerse yourself in a community that fosters students’ passion for international awareness in their own lives and brings that awareness to the rest of the University community. About the International/Intercultural LLC A total of 44 students live in a Garden Apartment building. All sophomores, juniors and seniors are welcome to apply. Students may apply as a single application or in groups of two. Students from all majors are invited to apply. Any student wishing to live in the ILLC must submit an ILLC application to be considered. Members of the International/Intercultural Learning and Living Community are expected to:
