Conversation partners International students may practice their English speaking skills through the Conversation Partners Program. University of Dayton students, faculty, and staff, and people in the Dayton community volunteer to have weekly conversations with participants in our Intensive English Program so they can learn about each other's culture. Our E-mail Penpal Program offers a similar way to communicate through e-mail. This method of communication helps students with writing and reading skills. Both programs provide a wonderful way to make friends with people in the United States. To participate, complete the online volunteer form >> Coffee Hours Can't commit to a full semester? Then stop by one of the Coffee Hours during the semester! Coffee Hours offer an excellent opportunity to learn about the cultures of UD's international students while helping students in UD's Intensive English Program practice English!
