A first-hand account of the real impacts of climate change upon the land, ecosystems, families, churches and the vulnerable communities of Africa. Kaweesa is a water management specialist from Uganda and her message is one of creation stewardship. Kaweesa heads the "A Rocha Uganda Initiative" (ARUI), a Christian convervation organization. In this talk, she will focus on her experiences with Anwar, a leadership group for Jewish and Arab women that began during the 2001 Intifada, a period when tensions between Arab and Jewish populations were at their peak.
