Every year gets better and better! Some of 2008's highlights included: Fashion show Booths representing the countries and cultures of UD's international student population Excellent cuisine from around the world Dance and music performances Would you like to help? Cultural Booth Demonstration: If you have items that are specific to your culture/community/country/family that you would like to display on a table, please let us know. Items to consider might include pictures, ornaments, books, traditional decorations, fabric, toys, musical instruments, pottery, etc. We are setting 12 tables around the KU Ballroom for this purpose...sign up now to reserve your table! Performances: We put on a great show every year. Performances are presented by professionals from the Dayton area as well as individuals and groups from on campus. Past performances have included belly dancers, the rhythmic Irish Children dance, graceful Chinese dancers, sounds of bagpipes from Scotland, guitar solos from Germany, and many others. If you can sing, dance, or play an instrument, NOW is the time to show off your talent! Fashion Show: Clearly a favorite of all those who attend, is the international fashion show! We will have people from different countries wearing traditional clothes (dresses, uniforms, costumes, etc.) on the runway. We are now looking for those of you who have these traditional garments to model for us (or lend them to someone who will model them). Any questions?
