Semester and Exchange Programs

The University of Dayton offers students the opportunity to incorporate an international dimension into most academic programs during the year. Students may choose from UD’s existing exchange programs through partner institutions, or elect to participate in programs sponsored by other institutions. With the help of the Center for International Programs, students are able to easily explore program opportunities, understand institutional requirements and navigate the application and preparation process.

Partner Institutions/Exchanges
The University of Dayton participates in exchange agreements with several overseas institutions. Tuition costs are the same as regular University of Dayton tuition. In addition to tuition, students are responsible for their room and board in the host country, along with travel and personal expenses. Most financial aid (including institutional scholarships and grants) applies to exchange programs through partner institutions.

To learn more about exchange programs with UD’s international partners, contact Tina Manco, Coordinator for Partnerships and Exchanges, at tina.manco@notes.udayton.edu or (937) 229-3553.

Application process

Direct entry or other non-UD programs
UD students can study abroad in many countries through other U.S. colleges and universities, and study abroad organizations or overseas universities. Tuition for these programs varies by program. In addition to tuition, students are responsible for room and board in the host country, international travel and personal expenses. Aid for non-UD sponsored programs is limited to federal loans and grants.
