UD Study Abroad Programs At the University of Dayton, you may choose to study abroad for a summer, semester or full year participating in an academic, credit-bearing program or a service-learning experience. Through UD summer programs, exchange programs, and affiliate programs, students may select almost any country in the world. Summer Programs Traditionally, summer study abroad programs have been popular among University of Dayton students. Typically taught by University of Dayton faculty members, these programs provide a short introduction to a culture. Programs are sponsored by the Center for International Programs, Department of Languages, School of Business Administration and other areas of campus. Students may opt to study Chinese culture in Shanghai or engineering in France. These options are not only limited to the numerous service opportunities in the United States, but extend to many regions of the world including India, Dominican Republic, Zambia and many other places. Learn more >> Intercultural Programs Students are encouraged to explore the many cultures present here in the United States through our Marianist University Exchange Program to Chaminade University (Honolulu, Hawai'i) or St. Mary's University (San Antonio, Texas).
